Twits, yo
  • 08:19 Cheval is, uh, like deer, right? #
  • 08:20 (It's okay, I know that it's not deer. Would you believe, though, I have some.. Elk.. in my fridge?) #
  • 08:24 @sidawson I know (: I was being silly. It is, contrary to what I heard, very delicious; and had such a soft texture. #
  • 08:24 @sidawson I think it might have come from a very cute pony, with long eyelashes; because cute things seem to be tastiest. #
  • 08:58 I appear to be able to speak some French when I dream; because I woke up at 4am because "dream me" couldn't remember how to say "because" #
  • 08:58 (Which is to say, as much French as I can speak when I'm awake.) #

Not that that makes any difference, but why pick 'elk' as a euphemism?

Oh! When I put Wapiti into the google translation thing, "elk" is what it came back as (:

Ah. Deer naming is complicated. If a North American calls it 'elk' or 'wapiti' it's the closest relative of red deer (authorities vary on whether it's a subspecies or a relative). If they call it 'moose', it's elk. If they call it 'caribou', it's reindeer.``

All of these sound like delicious animals. I shall endeavour to try and find as many of them as I can <:
